Yesterday was as normal as any other day. However at about 12:15 last night Nicole woke me up with a question: What is that noise? At fist it sounded like a strong wind but as I started waking up I noticed a steady dripping noise. My first though was it must be raining outside but then i noticed the noise was coming from the storage room in our bedroom. Upon further inspection this is what we found.
Water was seeping in from the ceiling. I ran outside to investigate and found the sprinklers spraying the front door. Somehow they got turned around and water was seeping through the foundation. After some quick redirecting of the water and clean up we were able to get back to bed with a potential disaster diverted. We caught it early enough that there was no damage done.
